I’m afraid no … it contains many classes of the subsequent version. There’s a high risk of bricking FreeMind by doing this. However as there is obviously a need for this I’ll create patched versions of stable and dev builds. I’ll keep you updated via the blog.

How can you add your own custom icons to Freemind? I’ve added them to the freemind.jar file inside the images / icons folder and they will not show up. Can you post how this is done?

I haven’t gotten a chance to download your icon set, so maybe I am asking a silly question, but I am wanting a dollar sign, $ type icon to label things in my map that will require spending money. Any chance someone could point me to one tell me an easy way to get one into Freemind?

Great work Mathias, the installation went nice and easy. I have a few vector icon sets (released free under CC) that would also fit into freemind. Is there any interest in integrating them?
